What is the Hidden Majority?
Gallup finds that fewer than 30% of Americans identify as Democrat, and the same percentage as Republican. That means 70% do not agree with the Democrat agenda, and 70% do not agree with the Republican agenda. The only true majority in American politics today is the one that doesn’t want either party to have its way. If this Hidden Majority were organized, it could put pressure on the powers-that-be and help temper the tone of American politics.
How Do You Hide a Majority?
In keeping with our two-party system, pollsters ask people which side they’re on. If a respondent doesn’t choose a side, they are asked which way they lean. Those “leaners” then get lumped in with the hardliners, even though they specifically declined to identify themselves that way. This made sense when there were fewer of us; it makes no sense now that we are the largest voting bloc in the country.
How can we “un-hide” ourselves?
By uniting in an organized movement that can make our voices heard. After all, how can we complain about being ignored when we have no organization and no spokesperson?

Why should we trust you?
In today’s political environment, you shouldn’t trust anyone. But unlike many public policy organizations, we are not attempting to sway anyone to our way of thinking. We merely want to unite an existing group that currently lacks representation in our nation's political discourse.
Is the Hidden Majority Alliance a political party?
No. We believe it’s essential that the hub of the Hidden Majority movement remain outside of the political fray. Our job is to tell you how well parties and politicians are representing your values, and to serve as your voice. It is our hope, of course, that politicians and parties—whether existing or newly created—will adopt the positions of the Hidden Majority of Americans.
Aren’t there already groups out there doing this?
There have been various attempts to fix America’s broken political system: third parties, independent candidates, reach-across-the-aisle efforts, election reform, and more. But none of these have specifically appealed to the Hidden Majority, the largest voting bloc in America today. As a result, none of them have the voter base necessary to affect our nation’s partisan political polarization. However, many of these groups and ideas could be effective if they were part of a Hidden Majority movement.
